Maximize The Maxi

Whenever I purchase a piece of clothing my first thought is versatility. For example, I think about how many different ways I can style the item and get the most bang for my bucks. I love the challenge and creativity that comes with fashioning one piece of clothing into multiple outfits. See (The Little Black Dress Experiment).

Styling the lovely maxi dress pictured below from SheIn was very easy because it’s so versatile. This floral ensemble can be dressed up, as pictured, or dressed down with a belt, a cute pair of flip flops, and a straw hat. What I really love about this particular maxi is the button closure down the front of the dress. The button closure is most important because it allows for the dress to be worn different ways. The dress can be worn with a high slit, a low slit, or no slit at all. Leaving the dress unbuttoned entirely and using it as a swimsuit cover is another possibility. This maxi is also a good piece to transition from Summer to Fall especially when the two seasons are fighting it out and we are confused on what to wear. During this transition, the maxi can be worn with a high slit and paired with cute skinny jeans, or denim shorts and ankle boots (how cute would that be).

Last but definitely not least, lets not forget to accessorize the maxi to the max! What you choose to decorate your maxi with is up to you, but be sure have fun with your choices and select accessories that fit your personality!
